I like this product but wish it was a "mist". It comes out in a stream so i will wet my hands with water and spray it in my hands then rub together and scrunch my curls with it. it gives a good texture to my waves.
So, I love this product... but you have to spray it into your hands and scrunch into your hair. It shoots out like a stream, so it's not great for spraying directly on hair. But if you scrunch, it gives awesome beach waves... especially if you mix with the sculpting taffy.
Don’t be misled by the title of this product. I was disappointed to learn it’s not a mist at all. Not useful for what I wanted to use it for. Most product is wasted on your hands and it’s hard to get even coverage with your hands.
My first bottle sprayed more like a fire hose than a mist! It would spray straight through my hair and land on my scalp or neck. I thought I got a defective pump so I contacted Monat and they sent me a second bottle, which I do appreciate...but it does exactly the same. I then happened to finish a bottle of Thickening Spray that did come out with a mist. But with this bottle the Texturizing mist *still* comes out like a firehose, so it must be the combination of product and the nozzle.
Because the product can't be applied as a mist, I can't tell that I'm not getting the added volume to my hair because of the application or because of the product.
